betsey's clothes, in my opinion, are often some of the tackiest and least wearable pieces shown in new york fashion.  that being said, how awesomely fun would it be to attend one of her shows?!  i was reading about it on nymag.com and it sounds just as crazy as you would imagine, with models dancing down the runway and throwing money, and in one case a bowler hat (to melissa joan heart), into the audience.  on top of that, almost all of the girls who modeled seemed to be unknowns; not only did i not recognize most of them, but style.com hardly had any of their names listed either.  one of the few i could identify was kelly osbourne, who walked a few times.  in addition to the girls being unknowns, most of them looked decently fed!  a strange sight indeed in the fashion industry.  i applaud ms. johnson, for her fearlessness in design, setting a good example in casting healthy-looking girls, and obvious love for life in general.
