the theme of christopher kane seemed to be a cross between american western cowboy and japanese garden, with lace. or something like that. there was a lot of leather featured, whether it was patent or classic, and every single look was black with the above flower embroideries. the clothes certainly aren't ugly, but i was definitely expecting more from mr. kane. after the tenth slide i had had enough, and the collection seemed tired after my first time viewing. i could have handled a few of these types of looks, but i wish that there was more variation in the show, if only for christopher kane's sake. when designing a line, you want to have many different covetable pieces to sell; as i try to remember specifics from the collection (which i viewed less than ten minutes ago) i can barely distinguish between most of them.
